Applelinny

Well, for those of you who didn't know, Cooper loves to sing. Most days in the car on the way to or from school, we sing "Bippy Pider" (bitsy spider), "Round Round Bus" (wheels on the bus go...), "Name-O" (And Bingo was his name-o), "E-I-O" (old mcdonald), "Ginkle, Ginkle, Wittle Tar," and "ABCs." The last couple of days, Cooper has introduced a new song. It goes something like this:

"Applelinny (pronounced, App-uh-lin-ee), Applelinny, ah day yong."

Sometimes, he just says "Applelinny" over and over. We cannot for the life of us figure out what he is singing. So, I'm reaching out for help. If anyone can think of any children's song that even slightly resembles "Applelinny," please advise.

I really have no clue. The only song that I can think of that has "all day long" in it is Wheels on the Bus (we sing it with "all through the town" at the end instead of "all day long", but I've heard people sing it that way). Could he be saying "up and down all day long"?? Just another verse to round and round?
Again, I have no clue, this is a shot in the dark! Very cute though - I'd love to hear the three of you singing together in the car.

Are they talking about apples at school? Ty and Hannah sing "Apple Annie" at school. I sing "Apple Annie with my kids when I teach the letter A. The song starts out "Apple Annie, Apple Annie how are you today." That is the only song I can think of and we sing a lot of songs.
