Case Update

Sorry, this is quite untimely, but it just occurred to me that I never updated you following my two-week trial. It was an employment discrimination class action lawsuit, with a class made up of all past (since 2000), present, and future African-American employees of the Metro Water Department. The class and the nine individually-named plaintiffs alleged intentional discrimination. After nine long days of trial, the jury returned a verdict in our favor . . . finding no intentional discrimination. (I thought you all might have thought since I didn't mention it, I lost. Had to clear that one up! ; )
