Biting Update

Well, Emma didn't bite Cooper, Alex did! Jeremy went to pick Coop up late last week, and Alex had just bitten him. Cooper was saying to Jeremy, "No Papa, no bite you." His teacher, Bridgette, informed us that when he says that, he is trying to get the person to whom he is talking to tell the biter not to bite him anymore. For example, last week, when he was saying, "No Emma, no bite you," he was trying to get Emma to tell Alex not to bite him. And on the way home, he was just repeating to us that he had been telling Emma to tell Alex not to bite him. I know, it's a step removed to say the least, but at least we understand what his purpose was (and that he wasn't lying on his friend, Emma, who is in fact not a biter.) I think Coop has it all figured out now, though, because he spent much of the weekend saying, "Alec [Alex], no bite Booper [Cooper]." As Mrs. Bridgette says, "He may be little, but he can take care of himself."
