Happy Memorial Day!
We had a great holiday weekend. We enjoyed time with Ninny (my mom) Saturday morning. Then, we went to Bev and George's (my aunt and uncle) for the annual cookout/volleyball bash. We got to see Josh and Melissa's new house, which is beautiful! Cooper enjoyed running around the yard at Bev's and charted the first "napless" day of his tenure on earth. He did great overall, stealing the show most of the day of course. Then, after he had taken about all he could handle, he hit the sack early, crashing in his pack 'n play in Aunt Bev's room at 5:30 p.m. Other than a short waketime getting in the car to go home, he slept till a little after 7 the next morning. Sunday, we enjoyed time at Mammy's (Jeremy's mom) house with all the family, where Cooper got to ride a fun car that his friends Barb, Gene, and Hunter let him borrow. ; ) Then, Sunday night, we went to Uncle Jared and Aunt Charis's new house and helped decorate and get things in order. It looks GREAT!! Then, Monday, Ninny came to visit at our house, and we played "chalk" on the driveway and chase in the garage. Monday evening, we visited with Big Daddy and the crew at Mun and Nin's house. (Let me translate: Big Daddy is my dad (he chose the name); Mun is my grandma and Nin is my grandpa. "Nin" is really Ninny, but we go with "Nin" these days to keep from confusing Cooper since my mom is "Ninny" too.) One final note, there a couple of pictures that might seem out of place . . . this weekend also marked our first outright tantrum! We ignore it as we are supposed to, so as not to encourage the behavior by reacting to it, but it was just too good to not photograph and video. Maybe he's learning it doesn't get him anywhere, but in the meantime, at least we get a good laugh. I don't even know what he was mad at . . . perhaps nothing. I'm sure it won't be the last one! Hope you all had a great holiday weekend too!

I love it! Great pictures and it sounds like y'all had a fun, busy weekend. Cooper will get over the tantrums and it is hard not to laugh (most of the time, other times you'll want to get on the ground and cry with him).
