Well, we have good news. Cooper is finally moving on up the growth chart. As most of you know, he has stayed pretty steady in the 10th to 20th percentile since birth. However, since he has become this eating and drinking machine, he has grown a lot since his last checkup. He is now weighing in at 21 lbs. 4 oz., which is just slightly less than 3 times his birth weight (3x birth weight is recommended by one-year-old). That takes him up to a womping 27th percentile in weight. And his height is coming in just slightly less at the 24th percentile. YAY -- our little buddy is moving on up. In fact, he wore one of his new 12 month outfits to school yesterday, and it was the first time he has ever been in the the size of clothes that matched his age. Maybe he won't be as small as his mommy after all . . .
On a less exciting note, he had another ear infection. ;o( When he was at the doctor a few weeks ago, his right ear was infected, and his left was just slightly red. This time, the right ear had resolved, but the left was infected. Please keep him in your prayers that this does not become a recurring problem, which apparently is common with infants who have/had reflux disorder.
