Without Fail...

...Cooper never ceases to amaze me. The other night, Jeremy and I decided to take Cooper to eat at his favorite pizza place, Snappy Tomato (which we often refer to as just "Snappy"). I had had sort of a rough day at work, so I pitched to Jeremy the possibility of just picking up a pizza and taking it home. Jeremy was indifferent, so I decided to let Cooper make the call.
I said "Cooper, do you want to have pizza at home or at 'Snappy'?"
He responded, "Snappy."
Knowing kids well enough to know that they usually just say the last thing you listed, and wanting to know if he really meant it, I swapped the order: "Cooper, do you want to have pizza at 'Snappy' or at home?"
He responded, "Snappy."
I then turned to Jeremy and said, "I wonder if he even knows what I am talking about?"
Cooper chimed in, "Toe-mae-toe!"
I guess he knew what I was talking about.

Then tonight on the way home, (and after a long, busy day at work,) Cooper explained to me that Adam and Eve had to leave the "Gah-den" and that God said "Don't come back!" because they didn't listen to what God had told them. When Jeremy asked him, "Where is Jesus?", Cooper responded, "In my heart." He learned all of that at school today, by the way.

What a wonderful ending to a rough week. I love my life!
