July Fun

We have had so much fun in July so far. Although our plans to see fireworks at the Sounds game on the 4th got rained out, we enjoyed grilling out and hanging out with the Tidwells. We also had a great time at our church ClearView's annual cookout. Also, on the 3rd, which we all had off work, we headed to the Red, White and Zoo event at the Nashville Zoo with our friends, the Glenns and the Hoods.
This weekend has had its fair share of excitement as well. Friday night, we enjoyed dinner at Cheddar's (one of our fave restaurants ever!) with our friends, the Joyces. Last night, the Pattersons came over and Will and Cooper had a blast absolutely TRASHING Cooper's room. And get this - Cooper decided that yesterday would be the day that he would begin pottying like a big boy. We literally went from diapers on Friday to underwear all weekend! He has been a champ and seems really excited about the change. "No more diapers - diapers are for babies" is the new mantra around the Bussell house. We are so excited about this major milestone. I've posted a picture below from 4th of July weekend (see cowboy boots) as a tribute to Cooper's last "diapered" weekend!!

Great pictures! I love the one of Cooper in his diaper & cowboy boots; that is a perfect "last picture in diapers".
